Founded at a Critical Moment
Economics & AI for Earth was founded in September 2024 in New York City with a clear recognition: the climate crisis is fundamentally an economic coordination problem, and AI offers unprecedented tools to solve it.
While many organizations tackle climate from a technical angle, and others focus on economic policy, no one was working at the true intersection—combining AI capabilities with rigorous economic analysis to design better markets, smarter policies, and faster capital deployment.
We exist to fill that gap. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we conduct research that informs investors, policymakers, and practitioners building a sustainable future.
